93:1 The Lord reigns! He is robed in majesty, the Lord is robed, he wears strength around his waist. Indeed, the world is established, it cannot be moved.
The author of this song is unknown. The Lord will reign during the Millennial Kingdom. He will be robed in majesty as the King of kings and Lord of lords. The girdle of the Lord is His omnipotence. During the Great Tribulation, the world will be sea-sick. The world will be hovering back and forth, making it inhabitants want to vomit.
During the Millennial Kingdom, the earth will be established. It will no longer wave back and forth from evil forces.
93:2 Your throne has been secure from ancient times; you have always been king.
The Lord has always been King, but at the Millennial Kingdom, He will establish His throne publicly where everyone can see it.
93:3 The waves roar, O Lord, the waves roar, the waves roar and crash.
Waves crash on the seashore.
93:4 Above the sound of the surging water, and the mighty waves of the sea, the Lord sits enthroned in majesty.
Even though the waves crash on the seashore and make people sea-sick, the Lord still sits on His throne. The greatest display of God’s omnipotence in human history was the global Flood of Noah’s day. It is important to note that God sent the Flood, controlled the Flood, and terminated the Flood.
93:5 The rules you set down are completely reliable. Holiness aptly adorns your house, O Lord, forever.
God has established the laws of nature which are completely reliable. The sun will rise, the moon will set, and the stars will stay in their place. Global warmists like to think that with enough taxation, man can control nature. This is foolish thinking and comes from those who are void of Bible doctrine and greedy in acquiring wealth.
God is holy, meaning that He rises above all of creation. Because of sin, the satanic world system is unholy. Man lives in a flawed world which has been spoiled by Satan. When the Lord Jesus Christ returns, then He will bring in an eternal world order which cannot be spoiled.
