A psalm of David.
David wrote this song about being a guest of Jehovah. During the Millennial Kingdom, believers will be guests of Jehovah.
15:1 Lord, who may be a guest in your home? Who may live on your holy hill?
In this song, David asked Jehovah two questions. “Who can be a guest of Jehovah in his Tabernacle? Who may live in the New Jerusalem?"
15:2 Whoever lives a blameless life, does what is right, and speaks honestly?
The Hebrew word for “blameless” is תָּמִים (tanim), meaning sinless, perfect, or righteous. Man is too depraved and evil to be a guest of Jehovah. The only man who could meet these requirement is the Lord Jesus Christ. Unless one is as blameless as the Lord Jesus Christ, then no man can enter into the Millennial Kingdom.
15:3 He does not slander, or do harm to others, or insult his neighbor.
If any man has ever slandered anyone, harmed anyone, or insulted anyone, then he is ineligible to become a guest in Jehovah’s tabernacle. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only man in history who could meet these requirements.
15:4 He despises a reprobate, but honors the Lord’s loyal followers. He makes firm commitments and does not renege on his promise.
If any man ever dishonors any of Jehovah’s followers, or if he breaks one promise or one commitment, then he is ineligible to become a guest in the Lord’s tabernacle.
15:5 He does not charge interest when he lends his money. He does not take bribes to testify against the innocent. The one who lives like this will never be upended.
If any man earns interest when he loans money, or takes a bribe to testify against the enemy, then he will be ineligible to become a guest at Jehovah’s Tabernacle. The only person who can meet these standards is the Lord Jesus Christ. He will never be upended. Even His time on the cross was a victory. Believers can enter into the Millennial Kingdom, but only because they are clothed in the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ.
